We are located at 195 Meeting House Road across from Commerce Park in the quaint town of South Chatham on Cape Cod. We are a non-denominational Evangelical church which simply means we take the Bible seriously and we believe in Jesus Christ alone as Savior and Lord. Everyone is welcome at Redemption Rock regardless of age, background, race, social status, economic status or anything. Come join us in the ministry of Jesus Christ as we endeavor to be Christ’s hands, feet and heart in today’s world. Since about 1827, the congregation of Redemption Rock (formerly First Light Church, Chatham Baptist Church and Lighthouse Bible Chapel) has been committed to ministry in Chatham with summer vacationers and permanent residents alike.
This Sunday at Redemption Rock, we continue our series The Disciples’ Journey: From Doubt to Resurrection Life with a powerful message titled “The Undone Disciple: Peter’s Restoration and Renewal” from John 21:15–19.
Peter had failed Jesus in a very public and painful way—denying Him three times when it mattered most. But that wasn’t the end of his story. In one of the most grace-filled moments in all of Scripture, the risen Jesus meets Peter right where he is, restores him, and calls him back into purpose. This message will walk through that moment and show how Jesus still restores people today—not just to forgive them, but to send them out.
If you’ve ever felt like you’ve drifted, messed up, or gone quiet in your faith, this message is for you. And if you’re wondering what it really looks like to follow Jesus and help other people follow Him too, you’ll see how Peter’s story connects directly to our mission—to make disciples of Jesus starting right here in our community. Join us and discover how failure is not final when Jesus is involved.
